Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 August 2026
Clepie is operated by Christos Demetriou, a sole trader established in the Republic of Cyprus, trading as "Clepie" ("we", "us"). These terms form an agreement between you and Christos Demetriou. By creating an account or continuing to use the service you agree to them. You confirm you are of legal age and, if you use Clepie on behalf of an organisation, that you have authority to bind it.
The service
Theme builder — an AI tool that generates Shopify Online Store 2.0 themes from your prompts. It is provided on an "as is" basis; we aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Your content & ownership
You retain ownership of the prompts and text you submit, and of the themes generated for your account. You may use generated themes on your own and your clients' Shopify stores. You grant us only the limited licence needed to host, process and display your content in order to run the service.
Acceptable use
- Do not upload or generate content that infringes others' intellectual property.
- Do not upload unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit or harassing content, or content published without the consent of the people shown.
- Do not abuse the service (scraping, automated mass-generation, reselling raw credits).
- Do not attempt to bypass plan limits, rate limits or security controls.
We may suspend or remove pages that breach these rules.
AI output
AI-generated designs and copy may contain inaccuracies and are not unique to you. Review everything before publishing or printing. You are responsible for the final content of your store.
Payments, billing and our reseller
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled; plan credits reset at each billing cycle and unused plan credits do not roll over. Prices may be displayed in your local currency for convenience — the charged amount is the one shown at checkout. You can cancel any time from your account or via paddle.net; access continues to the end of the paid period. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy (30-day money-back guarantee), in addition to your statutory rights.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the service, in whole or in part, if: you materially breach these terms; payment fails or is charged back; we detect fraud, security risk or abuse of the service; or you repeatedly or seriously breach the acceptable use rules above. Where reasonable we will notify you first and give you a chance to fix the issue; for security or fraud risks suspension may be immediate. You may terminate at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account. On termination your access ends, and generated themes may be deleted after a reasonable export window.
Third-party services
Clepie relies on Shopify, AI providers and Paddle.com. Their own terms apply to your use of those services, and interruptions on their side may affect Clepie.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clepie is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost data stored by third parties, or lost profits. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated in the app.
